The City of Eden teaches the D.A.R.E. Core Program
to all 5th grade classes in the City of Eden.
We believe that in order to influence children in their decisions,
we have to enhance what they have learned and we
must educate parents about the peer environment their children live
in.
Alcohol-#1 Misused Drug
In the United States there are approximately 11 million alcoholics.
The average beginning age for experimentation of alcohol
is 10 years of age. It is responsible for 53% of fatal crashes,
70% of violent crimes, and is the leading cause of death for teens.
